About

Hi, I’m Joanne — the Suds Lady

Some people collect stamps. Some people knit sweaters for their cats. I… make soap. A lot of soap.

What started as a “let me try this cute hobby” moment quickly turned into “well, I guess my entire house smells like lavender now.”

And my house always smells delicious now!

How It All Started

One day I made a bar of soap from a kit. Then I made more with YouTube. Then I made 47 more because I have no chill when I get excited about something.

Friends and family started saying things like:

  • “This is too pretty to use.”

  • “Are you sure this is soap? (Yes don't try to eat it!)”

  • “Mom, do you have more soap? I am out and I only like yours now"

And then I retired! Lots of time to make soap!

My Suds Craft

Every bar is handcrafted in small batches, which is a fancy way of saying:

  • I pour it

  • I swirl it

  • I talk to it like it’s Molly (my dog/soaper companion)

  • I hope it behaves

  • And then I unmold it and cross my fingers!

I use high‑quality detergent-free butters and glycerin bases, Essential and/or natural Fragrance oils, skin friendly colorants, and unique designs.

My Values (The Clean Version)

At Scentsational Suds, I believe in:

  • Good ingredients — because your skin deserves nice things

  • Good vibes — because foamy Suds should make you smile

  • Good smells — because smelling like a flower is better than smelling like… not a flower

  • Good humor — because life is too short for boring SUDS

Why I Do This

Because soap shouldn’t be ugly. Because showers should feel like a tiny spa moment. Because handmade things have heart. And because making soap is cheaper, and way more fun, than taking another beach trip!

Thank You

Thank you for supporting my small business, my creativity, and my ongoing mission to make the world smell better — one bar at a time.

If you ever need a gift, a treat for yourself, or just want to sniff something delightful, I’ve got you covered.  If you are looking for a custom design for a special occasion or fund raiser, I can do that too!
